I guess it's nostalgia again. Not that the black and white archival photos I gravitate towards are even my nostalgia. I'm mostly just interested in the snippets of a time long gone and how different fashion, lifestyles and culture were back then. I have a whole folder of archival photos (most of them from Google's Life magazine archives) entitled "These Are Not My Memories." They just fascinate me.

Sparkly and fun with that loud POP! They are also nostalgic for me, remembering Fourth of July in New Philadelphia, Ohio at my grandmother's house. We (the whole extended family) would walk to a neighbor's very large grassy hill and lay out in the grass to watch the fireworks explode overhead. It's definitely a nice memory that I have.
