What would we do without them? For me, I know that I wouldn't be as fortunate to have a job right out of college if it weren't for computers--my job is web-based and only exists because of computers. And, on top of that, I wouldn't know half the weird things I know now and I'd be a pretty boring person. So here's to computers. Hip, hip, hooray!

I'm finished with school! No more papers, no more merciless dissecting of literature! I'm FREE! I have been waiting for this for three years. I was never really happy at college with a bunch of boozy party animals--it's not my scene. But now I'm out and I can start working and doing things that make me feel happy and productive.

There was no December graduation for me so there was no throwing of hats or wearing of robes but I might walk in May (if I'm in the state--I might be in Colorado!). I'm just so happy to be out. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off me and now I can do ANYTHING. I could move to Europe, I could work on a ranch, I can just go anywhere and do anything and I cannot wait to get started. Wish me luck!

I love to daydream about my future. I dream about where I'll travel, where I'll live, who I'll meet--all kinds of things. At the moment, I'm having the most fun daydreaming about the next place I'll live. I'm hoping for a cute little row house in the city with my best friend. Last night we daydreamed by looking at postings for houses online. It was fun, encouraging and now we're psyched for March when we'll find out if it will work out. I want to paint walls, I want to hang pictures. I want a home!

No matter what I'm daydreaming about, you can usually find me looking wistfully out of windows or staring blankly into space--I always have something on my mind!

They just make me feel so awesome. What more can I say?

Gloves are an essential piece of my winter wear. My fingers get cold really easily, especially when I'm at the barn. Fingers are so important, too, so it's doubly important to keep them warm. I hate it when my fingers are too cold to do something intricate like lace my shoes or button a coat or something. For all these reasons and more, I need gloves at almost all times.

I love the new trend of the fingerless gloves with mitten fold-over parts since I have a touch screen phone but I have never really worn mittens before (I always choose a glove over a mitten) so when I flip the mitten part over for warmth, I'm kind of awkward. Also, without that extra cloth over the fingertips, my fingers still get cold! So, I like the idea but I don't like the outcome. Really, the phone developers should start making phones that detect gloved fingers just as they detect flesh ones. Then all my problems will be solved! Get working on that, phone developers.
